Jozi Rumble is Southern Africa's largest and oldest debating open. It has been the only tournament of any kind in the region that held an edition consistently from 2012, cementing its status as the most prestigious open major in Southern Africa.
The competition is held annually over Easter weekend, which is usually in early-to-mid April, with an average of 15 debate rooms (120 speakers) vying for Johannesburg's primordial debate contest.
As the epithet goes, "Let's get ready to rumble!"
